The numerical control precision lathe is a versatile machine tool that combines the efficiency of a regular lathe with the precision of a high-precision lathe. With its wide coverage and extensive usage, this lathe is highly demanded. The machine uses numerical control technology to operate based on pre-programmed instructions. It comprises of various components such as a program carrier, input device, CNC unit, servo system, position feedback system and machine tool mechanical parts. Clearly, the numerical control precision lathe is an advanced machine tool that offers high machining accuracy and efficiency.

The efficient functioning of CNC precision lathe is often hindered by several negative factors, both external and internal. These factors can lead to various malfunctions during the operation of the electrical equipment. Therefore, it is vital to conduct regular maintenance and overhaul to ensure smooth production and operation. The following conditions must be met to ensure proper use of CNC precision lathe.

1. Environmental requirements: the position of the CNC precision lathe should be far away from the vibration source, and should avoid the influence of direct sunlight and thermal radiation, as well as the influence of humidity and air flow.If there is a vibration source near the machine tool, anti vibration ditches should be set around the machine tool. Otherwise, the machining accuracy and stability of the machine tool will be directly affected, and the electronic components will be in poor contact and fail, affecting the reliability of the machine tool.

The CNC precision lathe is commonly placed in a machining workshop where environmental temperatures can be highly varied and the service conditions may be less than ideal. In addition, there are many other electromechanical devices being used in the same vicinity, resulting in significant fluctuations in the power supply. Consequently, it is essential to apply strict control of the power supply voltage for the lathe's installation location. The power voltage must remain within the allowable range with relatively stable fluctuations; otherwise, the CNC system's normal operation will be adversely impacted.

3. Temperature conditions: the ambient temperature of CNC precision lathe is lower than 30 degrees, and the relative temperature is less than 80%.Generally speaking, there are exhaust fans or cooling fans inside the CNC electric cabinet to keep the working temperature of electronic components, especially the central processing unit, constant or the temperature difference changes very little. Excessive temperature and humidity will reduce the service life of control system components and lead to more failures. With the increase of temperature and humidity, more dust will bond the integrated circuit board and lead to short circuit.

The standard use of a machine tool requires that its parameters, set by the manufacturer in the control system, remain unchanged by the user. Any modifications to these parameters can affect the dynamic characteristics of the machine tool's individual parts. The only adjustment the user can make is to the clearance compensation parameter based on the actual situation. Furthermore, the user cannot replace the machine tool's accessories with other components that do not match the proportionality of the link parameters.

The manufacturer has designed the accessories, taking into consideration the matching of various link parameters. Blind accessory replacement can cause parameter mismatching in various links, creating a risk for unexpected accidents. The hydraulic chuck, hydraulic tool rest, hydraulic tailstock, and hydraulic cylinder's pressure should remain within the allowable stress range. Increasing the pressure of these accessories is not allowed arbitrarily. By following these standard use guidelines, the user can ensure safe and optimal operation of the machine tool.
